I am fascinated by the concept of Kitsch vs. so called Fine Art. I personally think this is something most artists comfortable with their own work don't even think about what type of art they are making. Some artists just say their work is low brow and like Kitsch used to be a put down. Now it’s an alternative to the academic and non Representative art of the past which is sometimes seen as Kitsch.
