The Aurora Monster Scenes Controversy

 Aurora Model Kits Monster Scenes line was a spectacular assault on good taste. The moral character of monster loving youth was in peril.
They had already been seduced by the siren call of model glue.

 

Now bondage and sadism had rolled up like a devilish ice cream truck offering snap together perversion.
I loved Aurora Monster Model kits. The fantastic lurid cover paintings sold the kit.

Religious publications began a campaign against the monster Scenes kits.  The models were selling sexual sadism to children they claimed. The Model lines slogan "Rated X...for Excitement" .
